IBPS PO 2016 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

IBPS PO Question Papers :- IBPS or institute of Banking
Personnel Selection is a self-governed banking recruitment agency in
India, which is responsible for the selection of Officers and Clerks in
various Indian banks. IBPS conducts a Common Written Exam (CWE)
separately for various banking posts including Probationary Officer,
Specialist Officers and Clerks. Students, who are going to appear in the

IBPS conducts PO exam once a year for recruitment of Probationary
Officers in various banks in India. Candidates, who possess a valid
graduate degree, can apply for the IBPS PO exam. For more details about

IBPS PO Sample Papers :- Candidates, who are going to appear for
the next IBPS PO exam, must collect all the required information about
syllabus and study material. IBPS PO exam syllabus involves the study of
following five subjects :-

1.    English Language
2.    Quantitative Ability
3.    Logical Reasoning
4.    General Knowledge
5.    Computer Knowledge

IBPS PO Exam Pattern:-

IBPS PO Exam Pattern: – IBPS has changed Probationary
Officer Entrance Exam Pattern completely. From this year candidates have
to qualify 3 stages to get final selection. Let’s have a talk about all
the three stages.

Stage-I: – Preliminary Examination: – Preliminary
examination will be conducted to remove non-serious candidates from the
competition. The level of questions will not so tough in this 1st stage.  This will consists of 3 sections which are mentioned in below drawn table.

Candidates have to qualify each section. They get 1 mark for each right
answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Those candidates who clear this stage will able to go at next stage.

Stage-II: – Main Exam: – Stage 2 will consist of
objective type and descriptive type question paper. Objective type
question paper will consist of 4 sections of 200 questions. Details are
mentioned in below drawn table.

Candidates will have to pass each and every section to qualify for Stage-III.

Step-3: Personal Interview: – This is last and final
stage of whole process. If candidates would able to qualify this step
then they will get selected for the Job finally.
